سُورَةُ القِيَامَةِ
Surah Al-Qiyaama ("The Resurrection") is surah 75 of the Quran: 40 ayat, revealed in Makkah. بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
لَآ أُقْسِمُ بِيَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ﴿1﴾
ہم کو روز قیامت کی قسم
I swear by the Day of Resurrection
وَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِٱلنَّفْسِ ٱللَّوَّامَةِ ﴿2﴾
اور نفس لوامہ کی (کہ سب لوگ اٹھا کر) کھڑے کئے جائیں گے
And I swear by the reproaching soul [to the certainty of resurrection].
أَيَحْسَبُ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ أَلَّن نَّجْمَعَ عِظَامَهُۥ ﴿3﴾
کیا انسان یہ خیال کرتا ہے کہ ہم اس کی (بکھری ہوئی) ہڈیاں اکٹھی نہیں کریں گے؟
Does man think that We will not assemble his bones?
بَلَىٰ قَـٰدِرِينَ عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّسَوِّىَ بَنَانَهُۥ ﴿4﴾
ضرور کریں گے (اور) ہم اس بات پر قادر ہیں کہ اس کی پور پور درست کردیں
Yes. [We are] Able [even] to proportion his fingertips.
بَلْ يُرِيدُ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ لِيَفْجُرَ أَمَامَهُۥ ﴿5﴾
مگر انسان چاہتا ہے کہ آگے کو خود سری کرتا جائے
But man desires to continue in sin.
يَسْـَٔلُ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ﴿6﴾
پوچھتا ہے کہ قیامت کا دن کب ہوگا؟
He asks, "When is the Day of Resurrection?"
فَإِذَا بَرِقَ ٱلْبَصَرُ ﴿7﴾
جب آنکھیں چندھیا جائیں
So when vision is dazzled
وَخَسَفَ ٱلْقَمَرُ ﴿8﴾
اور چاند گہنا جائے
And the moon darkens
وَجُمِعَ ٱلشَّمْسُ وَٱلْقَمَرُ ﴿9﴾
اور سورج اور چاند جمع کردیئے جائیں
And the sun and the moon are joined,
يَقُولُ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَيْنَ ٱلْمَفَرُّ ﴿10﴾
اس دن انسان کہے گا کہ (اب) کہاں بھاگ جاؤں؟
Man will say on that Day, "Where is the [place of] escape?"
كَلَّا لَا وَزَرَ ﴿11﴾
بےشک کہیں پناہ نہیں
No! There is no refuge.
إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْمُسْتَقَرُّ ﴿12﴾
اس روز پروردگار ہی کے پاس ٹھکانا ہے
To your Lord, that Day, is the [place of] permanence.
يُنَبَّؤُا۟ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ يَوْمَئِذٍۭ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَأَخَّرَ ﴿13﴾
اس دن انسان کو جو (عمل) اس نے آگے بھیجے اور پیچھے چھوڑے ہوں گے سب بتا دیئے جائیں گے
Man will be informed that Day of what he sent ahead and kept back.
بَلِ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِۦ بَصِيرَةٌۭ ﴿14﴾
بلکہ انسان آپ اپنا گواہ ہے
Rather, man, against himself, will be a witness,
وَلَوْ أَلْقَىٰ مَعَاذِيرَهُۥ ﴿15﴾
اگرچہ عذر ومعذرت کرتا رہے
Even if he presents his excuses.
لَا تُحَرِّكْ بِهِۦ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعْجَلَ بِهِۦٓ ﴿16﴾
اور (اے محمدﷺ) وحی کے پڑھنے کے لئے اپنی زبان نہ چلایا کرو کہ اس کو جلد یاد کرلو
Move not your tongue with it, [O Muhammad], to hasten with recitation of the Qur'an.
إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا جَمْعَهُۥ وَقُرْءَانَهُۥ ﴿17﴾
اس کا جمع کرنا اور پڑھانا ہمارے ذمے ہے
Indeed, upon Us is its collection [in your heart] and [to make possible] its recitation.
فَإِذَا قَرَأْنَـٰهُ فَٱتَّبِعْ قُرْءَانَهُۥ ﴿18﴾
جب ہم وحی پڑھا کریں تو تم (اس کو سنا کرو اور) پھر اسی طرح پڑھا کرو
So when We have recited it [through Gabriel], then follow its recitation.
ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا بَيَانَهُۥ ﴿19﴾
پھر اس (کے معانی) کا بیان بھی ہمارے ذمے ہے
Then upon Us is its clarification [to you].
كَلَّا بَلْ تُحِبُّونَ ٱلْعَاجِلَةَ ﴿20﴾
مگر (لوگو) تم دنیا کو دوست رکھتے ہو
No! But you love the immediate
وَتَذَرُونَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةَ ﴿21﴾
اور آخرت کو ترک کئے دیتے ہو
And leave the Hereafter.
وُجُوهٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ نَّاضِرَةٌ ﴿22﴾
اس روز بہت سے منہ رونق دار ہوں گے
[Some] faces, that Day, will be radiant,
إِلَىٰ رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٌۭ ﴿23﴾
اور) اپنے پروردگار کے محو دیدار ہوں گے
Looking at their Lord.
وَوُجُوهٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۭ بَاسِرَةٌۭ ﴿24﴾
اور بہت سے منہ اس دن اداس ہوں گے
And [some] faces, that Day, will be contorted,
تَظُنُّ أَن يُفْعَلَ بِهَا فَاقِرَةٌۭ ﴿25﴾
خیال کریں گے کہ ان پر مصیبت واقع ہونے کو ہے
Expecting that there will be done to them [something] backbreaking.
كَلَّآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱلتَّرَاقِىَ ﴿26﴾
دیکھو جب جان گلے تک پہنچ جائے
No! When the soul has reached the collar bones
وَقِيلَ مَنْ ۜ رَاقٍۢ ﴿27﴾
اور لوگ کہنے لگیں (اس وقت) کون جھاڑ پھونک کرنے والا ہے
And it is said, "Who will cure [him]?"
وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ ٱلْفِرَاقُ ﴿28﴾
اور اس (جان بلب) نے سمجھا کہ اب سب سے جدائی ہے
And the dying one is certain that it is the [time of] separation
وَٱلْتَفَّتِ ٱلسَّاقُ بِٱلسَّاقِ ﴿29﴾
اور پنڈلی سے پنڈلی لپٹ جائے
And the leg is wound about the leg,
إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْمَسَاقُ ﴿30﴾
اس دن تجھ کو اپنے پروردگار کی طرف چلنا ہے
To your Lord, that Day, will be the procession.
فَلَا صَدَّقَ وَلَا صَلَّىٰ ﴿31﴾
تو اس (ناعاقبت) اندیش نے نہ تو (کلام خدا) کی تصدیق کی نہ نماز پڑھی
And the disbeliever had not believed, nor had he prayed.
وَلَـٰكِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ ﴿32﴾
بلکہ جھٹلایا اور منہ پھیر لیا
But [instead], he denied and turned away.
ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦ يَتَمَطَّىٰٓ ﴿33﴾
پھر اپنے گھر والوں کے پاس اکڑتا ہوا چل دیا
And then he went to his people, swaggering [in pride].
أَوْلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوْلَىٰ ﴿34﴾
افسوس ہے تجھ پر پھر افسوس ہے
Woe to you, and woe!
ثُمَّ أَوْلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوْلَىٰٓ ﴿35﴾
پھر افسوس ہے تجھ پر پھر افسوس ہے
Then woe to you, and woe!
أَيَحْسَبُ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ أَن يُتْرَكَ سُدًى ﴿36﴾
کیا انسان خیال کرتا ہے کہ یوں ہی چھوڑ دیا جائے گا؟
Does man think that he will be left neglected?
أَلَمْ يَكُ نُطْفَةًۭ مِّن مَّنِىٍّۢ يُمْنَىٰ ﴿37﴾
کیا وہ منی کا جو رحم میں ڈالی جاتی ہے ایک قطرہ نہ تھا؟
Had he not been a sperm from semen emitted?
ثُمَّ كَانَ عَلَقَةًۭ فَخَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ ﴿38﴾
پھر لوتھڑا ہوا پھر (خدا نے) اس کو بنایا پھر (اس کے اعضا کو) درست کیا
Then he was a clinging clot, and [Allah] created [his form] and proportioned [him]
فَجَعَلَ مِنْهُ ٱلزَّوْجَيْنِ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلْأُنثَىٰٓ ﴿39﴾
پھر اس کی دو قسمیں بنائیں (ایک) مرد اور (ایک) عورت
And made of him two mates, the male and the female.
أَلَيْسَ ذَٰلِكَ بِقَـٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يُحْـِۧىَ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ ﴿40﴾
کیا اس خالق کو اس بات پر قدرت نہیں کہ مردوں کو جلا اُٹھائے؟
Is not that [Creator] Able to give life to the dead?
