Surah Al-Infitaar with Urdu and English translation

82:1Make a reel of this ayah

إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنفَطَرَتْ ﴿1﴾

جب آسمان پھٹ جائے گا

When the sky breaks apart

82:2Make a reel of this ayah

وَإِذَا ٱلْكَوَاكِبُ ٱنتَثَرَتْ ﴿2﴾

اور جب تارے جھڑ پڑیں گے

And when the stars fall, scattering,

82:3Make a reel of this ayah

وَإِذَا ٱلْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ ﴿3﴾

اور جب دریا بہہ (کر ایک دوسرے سے مل) جائیں گے

And when the seas are erupted

82:4Make a reel of this ayah

وَإِذَا ٱلْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ ﴿4﴾

اور جب قبریں اکھیڑ دی جائیں گی

And when the [contents of] graves are scattered,

82:5Make a reel of this ayah

عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌۭ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ ﴿5﴾

تب ہر شخص معلوم کرلے گا کہ اس نے آگے کیا بھیجا تھا اور پیچھے کیا چھوڑا تھا

A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back.

82:6Make a reel of this ayah

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ ٱلْكَرِيمِ ﴿6﴾

اے انسان تجھ کو اپنے پروردگار کرم گستر کے باب میں کس چیز نے دھوکا دیا

O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous,

82:7Make a reel of this ayah

ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّىٰكَ فَعَدَلَكَ ﴿7﴾

(وہی تو ہے) جس نے تجھے بنایا اور (تیرے اعضا کو) ٹھیک کیا اور (تیرے قامت کو) معتدل رکھا

Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you?

82:8Make a reel of this ayah

فِىٓ أَىِّ صُورَةٍۢ مَّا شَآءَ رَكَّبَكَ ﴿8﴾

اور جس صورت میں چاہا تجھے جوڑ دیا

In whatever form He willed has He assembled you.

82:9Make a reel of this ayah

كَلَّا بَلْ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِٱلدِّينِ ﴿9﴾

مگر ہیہات تم لوگ جزا کو جھٹلاتے ہو

No! But you deny the Recompense.

82:10Make a reel of this ayah

وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحَـٰفِظِينَ ﴿10﴾

حالانکہ تم پر نگہبان مقرر ہیں

And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers,

82:11Make a reel of this ayah

كِرَامًۭا كَـٰتِبِينَ ﴿11﴾

عالی قدر (تمہاری باتوں کے) لکھنے والے

Noble and recording;

82:12Make a reel of this ayah

يَعْلَمُونَ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ ﴿12﴾

جو تم کرتے ہو وہ اسے جانتے ہیں

They know whatever you do.

82:13Make a reel of this ayah

إِنَّ ٱلْأَبْرَارَ لَفِى نَعِيمٍۢ ﴿13﴾

بے شک نیکوکار نعمتوں (کی بہشت) میں ہوں گے۔

Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure,

82:14Make a reel of this ayah

وَإِنَّ ٱلْفُجَّارَ لَفِى جَحِيمٍۢ ﴿14﴾

اور بدکردار دوزخ میں

And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire.

82:15Make a reel of this ayah

يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ ٱلدِّينِ ﴿15﴾

(یعنی) جزا کے دن اس میں داخل ہوں گے

They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense,

82:16Make a reel of this ayah

وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَآئِبِينَ ﴿16﴾

اور اس سے چھپ نہیں سکیں گے

And never therefrom will they be absent.

82:17Make a reel of this ayah

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ ﴿17﴾

اور تمہیں کیا معلوم کہ جزا کا دن کیسا ہے؟

And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense?

82:18Make a reel of this ayah

ثُمَّ مَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ ﴿18﴾

پھر تمہیں کیا معلوم کہ جزا کا دن کیسا ہے؟

Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense?

82:19Make a reel of this ayah

يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌۭ لِّنَفْسٍۢ شَيْـًۭٔا ۖ وَٱلْأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلَّهِ ﴿19﴾

جس روز کوئی کسی کا بھلا نہ کر سکے گا اور حکم اس روز خدا ہی کا ہو گا

It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allah.
