Surah Ad-Dhuhaa (Duha) with Urdu and English translation

93:1Make a reel of this ayah

وَٱلضُّحَىٰ ﴿1﴾

آفتاب کی روشنی کی قسم

By the morning brightness

93:2Make a reel of this ayah

وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ ﴿2﴾

اور رات (کی تاریکی) کی جب چھا جائے

And [by] the night when it covers with darkness,

93:3Make a reel of this ayah

مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ ﴿3﴾

کہ (اے محمدﷺ) تمہارے پروردگار نے نہ تو تم کو چھوڑا اور نہ (تم سے) ناراض ہوا

Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you].

93:4Make a reel of this ayah

وَلَلْـَٔاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌۭ لَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْأُولَىٰ ﴿4﴾

اور آخرت تمہارے لیے پہلی (حالت یعنی دنیا) سے کہیں بہتر ہے

And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life].

93:5Make a reel of this ayah

وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَىٰٓ ﴿5﴾

اور تمہیں پروردگار عنقریب وہ کچھ عطا فرمائے گا کہ تم خوش ہو جاؤ گے

And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied.

93:6Make a reel of this ayah

أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًۭا فَـَٔاوَىٰ ﴿6﴾

بھلا اس نے تمہیں یتیم پا کر جگہ نہیں دی؟ (بےشک دی)

Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge?

93:7Make a reel of this ayah

وَوَجَدَكَ ضَآلًّۭا فَهَدَىٰ ﴿7﴾

اور رستے سے ناواقف دیکھا تو رستہ دکھایا

And He found you lost and guided [you],

93:8Make a reel of this ayah

وَوَجَدَكَ عَآئِلًۭا فَأَغْنَىٰ ﴿8﴾

اور تنگ دست پایا تو غنی کر دیا

And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient.

93:9Make a reel of this ayah

فَأَمَّا ٱلْيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقْهَرْ ﴿9﴾

تو تم بھی یتیم پر ستم نہ کرنا

So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him].

93:10Make a reel of this ayah

وَأَمَّا ٱلسَّآئِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْ ﴿10﴾

اور مانگنے والے کو جھڑکی نہ دینا

And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him].

93:11Make a reel of this ayah

وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ ﴿11﴾

اور اپنے پروردگار کی نعمتوں کا بیان کرتے رہنا

But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it].
