Surah At-Taariq with Urdu and English translation

86:1Make a reel of this ayah

وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلطَّارِقِ ﴿1﴾

آسمان اور رات کے وقت آنے والے کی قسم

By the sky and the night comer -

86:2Make a reel of this ayah

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلطَّارِقُ ﴿2﴾

اور تم کو کیا معلوم کہ رات کے وقت آنے والا کیا ہے

And what can make you know what is the night comer?

86:3Make a reel of this ayah

ٱلنَّجْمُ ٱلثَّاقِبُ ﴿3﴾

وہ تارا ہے چمکنے والا

It is the piercing star -

86:4Make a reel of this ayah

إِن كُلُّ نَفْسٍۢ لَّمَّا عَلَيْهَا حَافِظٌۭ ﴿4﴾

کہ کوئی متنفس نہیں جس پر نگہبان مقرر نہیں

There is no soul but that it has over it a protector.

86:5Make a reel of this ayah

فَلْيَنظُرِ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ مِمَّ خُلِقَ ﴿5﴾

تو انسان کو دیکھنا چاہئے کہ وہ کاہے سے پیدا ہوا ہے

So let man observe from what he was created.

86:6Make a reel of this ayah

خُلِقَ مِن مَّآءٍۢ دَافِقٍۢ ﴿6﴾

وہ اچھلتے ہوئے پانی سے پیدا ہوا ہے

He was created from a fluid, ejected,

86:7Make a reel of this ayah

يَخْرُجُ مِنۢ بَيْنِ ٱلصُّلْبِ وَٱلتَّرَآئِبِ ﴿7﴾

جو پیٹھ اور سینے کے بیچ میں سے نکلتا ہے

Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs.

86:8Make a reel of this ayah

إِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ رَجْعِهِۦ لَقَادِرٌۭ ﴿8﴾

بےشک خدا اس کے اعادے (یعنی پھر پیدا کرنے) پر قادر ہے

Indeed, Allah, to return him [to life], is Able.

86:9Make a reel of this ayah

يَوْمَ تُبْلَى ٱلسَّرَآئِرُ ﴿9﴾

جس دن دلوں کے بھید جانچے جائیں گے

The Day when secrets will be put on trial,

86:10Make a reel of this ayah

فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن قُوَّةٍۢ وَلَا نَاصِرٍۢ ﴿10﴾

تو انسان کی کچھ پیش نہ چل سکے گی اور نہ کوئی اس کا مددگار ہو گا

Then man will have no power or any helper.

86:11Make a reel of this ayah

وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلرَّجْعِ ﴿11﴾

آسمان کی قسم جو مینہ برساتا ہے

By the sky which returns [rain]

86:12Make a reel of this ayah

وَٱلْأَرْضِ ذَاتِ ٱلصَّدْعِ ﴿12﴾

اور زمین کی قسم جو پھٹ جاتی ہے

And [by] the earth which cracks open,

86:13Make a reel of this ayah

إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوْلٌۭ فَصْلٌۭ ﴿13﴾

کہ یہ کلام (حق کو باطل سے) جدا کرنے والا ہے

Indeed, the Qur'an is a decisive statement,

86:14Make a reel of this ayah

وَمَا هُوَ بِٱلْهَزْلِ ﴿14﴾

اور بیہودہ بات نہیں ہے

And it is not amusement.

86:15Make a reel of this ayah

إِنَّهُمْ يَكِيدُونَ كَيْدًۭا ﴿15﴾

یہ لوگ تو اپنی تدبیروں میں لگ رہے ہیں

Indeed, they are planning a plan,

86:16Make a reel of this ayah

وَأَكِيدُ كَيْدًۭا ﴿16﴾

اور ہم اپنی تدبیر کر رہے ہیں

But I am planning a plan.

86:17Make a reel of this ayah

فَمَهِّلِ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ أَمْهِلْهُمْ رُوَيْدًۢا ﴿17﴾

تو تم کافروں کو مہلت دو بس چند روز ہی مہلت دو

So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile.
